The qualifications we offer are the national standards on the QCF framework developed by the Children’s Workforce Development Council (CWDC) and national awarding bodies. They are accredited by City and Guilds and are suitable for those working in a role which supports parents within a school, social care environment and other settings.   

Our Delivery

We deliver our courses via distance learning internationally. We also offer enhanced distance learning, including school visits to those located in the Yorkshire region, and can offer this in other areas to larger cohorts of learners.

• Face to face visits from your assessor at your school to support you with your qualification if selecting the enhanced distance learning delivery mode

Our Qualifications

Level 3 Certificate in Work with Parents This qualification is suitable for those working in a role which supports parents in any type of setting. It is most suitable for experienced Parent Support Advisors who undertake a wide variety of activities. The syllabus covers subjects such as work with parents to meet their childrens needs, building effective relationships with parents, caseload management and more. Level 3 Certificate in Work with Parents (Parent Support) This qualification is suitable for those working as a Parent Support Advisor in any type of school. The syllabus covers effective communication with parents, work in partnership with parents to engage them with their childrens learning and development in school, schools as organisations and more. Level 2 Award in Work with Parents This qualification is suitable for those working in a role which supports parents in any type of setting. It is most suitable for Parent Support Advisors who are new to the role and/or where their line manager plans their activities. The syllabus covers subjects including build and maintain relationships with parents and more. This qualification is available for just £385 via distance learning.
