Learning and Development Qualifications

At STAR we offer an assortment of Learning and Development awards to suit all training and development needs. These range from full NVQs to individual units and short bespoke courses.

We currently deliver our training courses in the North East and Yorkshire and Humber regions only, however we may be able to deliver in other areas for larger cohorts of learners. Please contact us for further details.

A1 Assessors Award This single unit qualification is aimed at individuals who are in work roles that involve assessing candidates against agreed standards of competence using a variety of different assessment methods.	Download details (.pdf,100KB) (opens in new window)
Direct Training and Support NVQ Level 3 This qualification has been developed specifically for practitioners delivering government funded, work-based learning. It is suitable for those who are involved with promoting learning by delivering training and development in the workplace or in training establishments. Learning and Development NVQ Level 3 This qualification is suitable for those who are involved with promoting learning by delivering training and development in the workplace or in training establishments. Coordination of Learning and Development Provision NVQ Level 4 This qualification is suitable for those who are involved with promoting learning by co-ordinating the delivery of training and development in the workplace or in training establishments. Learning and Development NVQ Level 4 This qualification is suitable for those who are involved with promoting learning by delivering training and development in the workplace or in training establishments. Management of Learning and Development Provision NVQ Level 4 This qualification is suitable for those who are involved with promoting learning by delivering training and development in the workplace or in training establishments. V1 Verifier Award This single unit qualification is aimed at individuals who are in work roles that involve supporting assessors and monitoring their performance, or ensuring that quality assurance requirements of external organisations, such as awarding bodies are met.
