STAR (Training and Consultancy) Ltd was established in 2000 bringing together a diverse range of expertise to meet the evolving learning and development agenda. Boasting over 30 years of experience in the learning and development sector our organisation has grown rapidly over the last decade. We now operate on an international basis from our head office in York.

Specialising in Consultancy Solutions, IT Solutions and First Class Training we are known for our flexible and responsive approaches to organisational needs, providing solutions, which are both cost effective and achieve the desired results.

We understand that all organisations and individuals are unique and therefore we work closely with our clients to understand their needs and to develop our programmes and services with their specific needs in mind. We provide consultancy support to assist organisations in workforce and organisational development and provide IT solutions and training to support achievement of these. We also provide a wide range of traditional training packages, including NVQs, suitable to both public and private sector organisations.

Renowned for achieving results STAR works extensively with local authorities, schools, the Wider Children's Workforce, the Learning and Skills Council and Life Long Learning UK to name but a few and is also the lead partner of the Schools Workforce Partnership.

We employ highly competent, flexible and experienced professionals who have a wealth of experience from different industries and disciplines; Consultants allocated to projects are sector specific with experience of identifying and implementing solutions.

Our Quality Standards

STAR has achieved certification in the prestigious Training Quality Standard with excellence in Children's Workforce in Schools, becoming the second provider nationally to achieve with this specialism.

We are a grade 2 ALI provider, holding the Matrix standard as a testament to our Information, Advice and Guidance services.
